LizzieMade Featured Here!

I thought it would be nice to keep a list of places where my work is featured (other than Pinterest, or my own online links of course).  Some people have been nice enough to include my books (and stuff) in their blog posts, lists or treasuries on Etsy, Luulla & Folksy, mentions elsewhere... This is my list so far!

Maison & Demeure: Ambiance Retro pour le temps des Fetes (Retro Touches for the Festive Season) December 2011
I was a bit amazed to find a link to this site in my Etsy stats this week (Feb. 2013), then to find that my little retro ticking flowers/stars were featured over a year ago - and I didn't know! But what a great blog and a fab article. How flattering!

A Life in Lists : Liberty Spotlight April 2012
Jo has a lovely shop on Etsy, where she sells Liberty print fabrics, to which I am slightly addicted.

Linda sent me the nicest message, asking if I was happy to be featured in her "Folksy Friday" spot.  Considering that I'd only opened my Folksy shop the previous week, I was rather delighted.  I was even more delighted, when the Pinterest Board she set up, while collecting Folksy favourites for this post, was featured as the Folksy front page selection for the day.  The blog post is lovely - she published a poem about dandelions, along with pictures of some beautiful dandelion-themed items.

Ellie's Treasures : We All Love a Bargain, 31st December 2012
Ellie is a Folksy seller, with a nice little blog, where she blogs about her day to day family life, her lovely little hand-stitched creations and things she finds, that she wants to share.
I'm very flattered to be included in her post about Folksy New Year Sale bargains at a fiver or less.  Happy New Year to Ellie!

The Broke-Ass Bride: Real Weddings - Tori & Trey's Shabby-Chic Fall Wedding, January 2013
(Tori asked me to create a very special wedding guest book, for her & Trey's wedding last autumn. Their theme included turquoise/aqua blue and tangerine/orange, with woodsy/mossy tones, because Trey is a keen huntsman and they wanted to reflect this in their wedding.  We came up with a book with natural linen (burlap-coloured) covers, trimmed with deep tangerine silk and lined with a marled aqua paper.  The article has such lovely comments about the book - I'm so thrilled that they were so happy with it!)

I'm so lucky to have a blog feature all about my shop!  The Supporting Artists Team is on of the Etsy Teams, set up to give support and encouragement to fellow artists.  It's a "by invitation" team and I was flattered to be asked to join.  They are a very active team and set up the blog recently.  It's very well run, with regular articles and lots of interesting posts.  Do go and take a look, not just at my post, but at the blog - and also the great selection of items made and sold by the Team members!

Examiner.com (Online Magazine): Handcrafted Notebooks, September 2013
I was contacted on Etsy, by a lovely lady called Sheryl Hildebrand, who writes articles for this online magazine site.  She asked if I'd mind her including details of a little pair of my handmade notebooks in this article.  I couldn't refuse - she asked so nicely and who wouldn't want a little extra publicity?
My "Baroque" Orange Notebooks are featured
In fact, it's a very nice article and I'm thrilled to bits!
There are five notebooks featured, so something for everyone.

Spiral Fountain Jewellery - Folksy Sunshine and Sand, June 2014
Elaine from Spiral Fountain Jewellery was in need of cheering up, so she wrote a blog post about items from fellow Folksy sellers, that were sunshiney or reminded her of the seaside.

Tangled Ribbons Handmade Crafts - Jennie Likes Things #5,  July 2014
I had a nice e-mail from Jennie of Tangled Ribbons, a fellow Folksy seller.  She writes a regular spot on her blog, where she picks out a few things that she likes, including items on Folksy.  This month, she featured my Luggage Notebooks, as one of her three Folksy choices.

She wrote such nice comments about them too. I'm very flattered. Thank you Jennie!
