to all of you wonderful ladies, who made the weekend so special. I was so delighted to see every one of you, and to meet you and talk to you face to face, after all the time I have been reading your blog posts (a very long time for most of you!).
It was a Good Weekend. Definitely. We had a great craft room to play in. There was lots to eat (oh, did the YHA feed us well!), especially Cake - we had so much cake! There was plenty of tea and coffee (which all of you will know is absolutely essential). We had demonstrations of clever techniques (I made my first ribbon rose today, as demonstrated at The Weekend - a photo will follow!). We had a fun walk - with craft shops included!
And, best of all, the Company was The Best.
I think we should do it again!

It was so great to meet everyone and spend all that time together. I had such a good time. Thank you all!
The company really was The Best! I feel like I have come away with so much more than I arrived with, & I dont just mean stock & food lol, I have learnt new techniques, widened my product knowledge & also come away with some new, absolutely fabulously lovely friends. Heres to the next one!!
Thank you so, so much for looking after me all weekend. I had such a fabulous time and am so pleased to have left with lots of new friends - and a whole lot of cake. I certainly hope I'll be able to make it to the next retreat x
Glad you had a good time (twinge of envy!) and I fully intend to hold you to doing another one! I've seen photos popping up and can't wait to see what you got up to.

Aww... shucks... blushes a bit (but not too much because it did go quite well on the whole...).

Clair, I may hold you to your offer of help with organising the next one... I'm exhausted! Besides, I think you'd do things differently to me, which would be good - don't want it to be too "samey"!
Ladies, any ideas for the next Weekend - from venues, to projects, to tutorials, to food - will be gratefully received and seriously considered!
I'm so so sad I couldn't make it. Please please lets do another one and I will try and come along! Sounds like an amazing time. xx

It was indeed wonderful and I was only there for a fraction of the time. But it was just glorious to meet you, Lizzie, and I think of you often. Hoping all is well with you and your Mum.
